Tijuca Forest +Santa Teresa + Lapa steps

Rio is famous for its beaches and many tourists don´t know it has a vast tropical forest right in the middle of the city, which takes less than 30 min to reach by car.

We will begin the tour by visiting the hang-gliding ramp at Pedra Bonita and enjoying its incredible view. We will then drive to the entrance of Tijuca National Park for a gentle 15-minutes walk to Cascatinha Taunay, the city's largest and most beautiful waterfall.

​Next, we will drive and stop at the 2 best viewpoints in Rio: Chinease View and the Dona Marta viewpoint. ​Afterwards we´ll enter in Santa Teresa, walk through the neighborhood's main area, Largo do Guimarães, where we will stop for lunch. Finally, we will visit the Lapa Steps and then return to your hotel.
